Projects

Washington, 2008-2010

This 230-kV design/build project for Puget Sound Energy involves constructing 40 miles of transmission line through three different counties, with multiple river and stream crossings, and approximately 22 poles located in wetlands.  SWP Environmental Services Co (SWP) is a member of the design team responsible for support on acquiring environmental permits and associated documentation and reports.  SWP is also responsible for writing the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) to comply with the NPDES permit, implementing permit requirements, and restoration efforts.  As part of the NPDES permit SWP will also have a monitor onsite who will be responsible for inspections and permit compliance during construction in the summer of 2009 and 2010.
