CJ Drilling, Inc (foundation contractor) retained the services of SWP Environmental Services (SWP) to ensure that construction operations were conducted in accordance with the mitigation measures as well as permit conditions on this 500kV transmission line project.  Environmental mitigation measures were developed in conjunction with SCE, BLM, USFS, and other agencies.
Support activities include:
• Develop Environmental Plan to support overall compliance of project mitigation measures in regards to drilling;
• Develop tools and strategies for environmental compliance;
• Integrate existing resources to monitor and check for environmental compliance;
• Develop procedures and tools to document environmental compliance on the project;
• Develop and implement environmental training for drill crews;
• Train project environmental personnel as needed;
• Field support for drill crews;
• Oversight or training on proper installation and maintenance of BMPs;
• Develop other environmental plans, as needed;
• Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance
