Projects

Washington 2015
An electrical utility contractor retained the services of SWP Environmental to ensure environmental compliance during construction of a 28-mile rebuild of a 115 kV wood pole transmission line from Grand Coulee to Creston, Washington. The project passed through cultivated cropland and undeveloped grasslands.

SWP was responsible for ensuring compliance with the project environmental requirements, including avoidance of cultural/archaeological areas, preservation of sensitive biological resources, and performance of erosion and sediment control and restoration operations. SWP developed crew training for project personnel, provided training of the on-site environmental representative, developed processes for ensuring environmental compliance, and performed regularly scheduled compliance inspections.
